EN - Lighthouse of Hope, a 2D animation created for the "Pegaí Leitura Grátis" Project.
"Pegaí Leitura Grátis" is a non-profit, non-governmental initiative created in July 2013 in the city of Ponta Grossa, Paraná, which in 2015 became a legal entity: the Pegaí Leitura Grátis Institute, with the mission of bringing books without readers closer to readers without books.
The project was conceived by university professor Idomar Augusto Cerutti, with the aim of encouraging the habit of reading and is maintained by a group of people passionate about reading who believe that books should not remain stored on shelves, deprived of being read.
To this end, the proposal is to receive book donations and make them available to new readers in publicly accessible locations.
The books that arrive (through donations) are separated and registered by the Project's volunteers, who stamp, label, and classify the age range. After that, the books are made available on the shelves, where the public can borrow them. No registration is required; simply find one of our Pegaí shelves, grab a book you like, take it home, read it, and return it to one of the collection points when you're finished.

O “Pegaí Leitura Grátis” é uma iniciativa sem fins lucrativos, não governamental, criado em julho de 2013 na cidade de Ponta Grossa, no Paraná, que em 2015 se formalizou como entidade jurídica: o Instituto Pegaí Leitura Grátis, com a missão de aproximar livros sem leitores de leitores sem livros.
O projeto foi idealizado pelo professor universitário Idomar Augusto Cerutti, com o objetivo de incentivar o hábito da leitura e mantido por um grupo de pessoas apaixonadas por leitura que acreditam que os livros não podem ficar guardados nas estantes, privados de serem lidos.
Para isso, a proposta é receber a doação de livros e colocá-los à disposição de novos leitores em locais de acesso público.
As obras que chegam (por meio de doação) são separadas e registradas pelos voluntários do Projeto, que carimbam, colocam etiquetas e classificam a faixa etária. Depois disso, os livros são disponibilizados nas estantes, onde a população pode emprestar. Não é necessário fazer cadastro, basta encontrar uma das nossas estantes Pegaí, pegar o título do seu gosto, levar para casa, ler e devolver nos Pontos de Coleta quando terminar a leitura.
